Welcome to week 11, we had some good progress this week. We read a short medical list of the history and purpose the dragon bones have along with all of the class making nice progress on the student made textbook from 2020.

Tuesday- the paper we read was based on the historical and medical importance of the dragon’s. All of them were found dead or dying which made sense to the people reasoning they are invisible to the human eye in life. Bones of these magic creatures came from many colors being the 5 colors, white, yellow and black ranked in effectiveness as listed. Many pages of the passage compose of many differences in of how to approach the method of using dragon bones like in usage of water to purify it because of a dragons deep connection with water. In one part the flesh is described as rainbow with vinegar added in. In my opinion of this article it felt to similar to the other articles we have read in the fact that it felt more like a list than an actual story taking place. I enjoy the concept of dragons being invisible until death along with their shapeshifting power and even their control over the rain once tempted with flesh of a swallow. It was a nice, brief read but it didn’t feel as nice to get through like the fox one.

Thursday- We were presenting the current group progress we have made so far into the book revising. Many groups seem to be confident in their completion to this textbook and I can reciprocate that same feeling same for the remainder of my group. Our presentation didn’t show much of the work we have been doing but we are steady on our way to being caught up with everyone else. Since a good amount of work has been done with the link groups and proofreader groups we will be able to smoothly finish up the textbook in time.
